Trivitron Healthcare enters
into strategic new
partnerships with IMD
Generators - Italy at Arab
Health 2015
(Dubai, UAE) --
Trivitron Healthcare, one of
India's largest medical
technology companies, has
entered into a Joint Venture
Agreement (JVA) with IMD
Generators – Italy at this
year’s edition of Arab
Health, which opened today
(January 26, 2015) and will
run until January 29, 2015
at the Dubai International
Convention and Exhibition
Centre (DICEC), Dubai, UAE.
The strategic new
partnership has resulted in
the creation of Kiran IMD X
Ray Private Ltd., which is
expected to take the lead in
the design and development
of groundbreaking X-Ray
equipment and accessories.
The new entity will be
operating from its
facilities in Chennai and
Mumbai in India and also in
Bergamo, Italy.
According to company
representatives, the new JVA,
Trivitron will now be able
to increase its product
offering to the UAE segment,
which will include a
complete range of high
frequency X-Ray machines, C
Arms, Digital OPG and
Mammography and Mobile/ Full
Room Cath Lab segments.
Furthermore, the agreement
will also allow Trivitron to
market products manufactured
in both Italy and India
across the entire Middle
East and African region.
Star Trivitron LLC, UAE, is
the local subsidiary of
Trivitron Healthcare and is
active in the Computed
Radiography (CR), Digital
Radiography (DR), PACS,
Radiation Protection
Apparels and Ultrasound Gel
segments. The subsidiary’s
training and development
centre at Dubai Healthcare
City will act as the support
hub for Kiran IMD X Ray.
The signing of the new JVA
may prove to be very timely
and strategic, as it ensures
that high technology X-Ray
products will now be
manufactured in India--
making it accessible and
affordable to emerging
markets like South and South
East Asia, Middle East,
Africa, Eastern Europe and
Latin America. Apart from
manufacturing products like
High End C-Arm, DR, High
Frequency X Ray Machines,
Mobile Cathlab and Digital
OPG, Kiran IMD X Ray Private
Ltd will also produce
Monoblocs/ Generators that
will be supplied to other X
Ray Manufacturers across the
world using Kiran's Global
Network.
This JV falls in line with
Trivitron's philosophy of
making state-of-the-art
technology accessible and
affordable, to a larger
