(Muscat, Oman) -
The demand for
healthcare facilities and
medical supplies has
drastically increased in the
Sultanate of Oman, as the
nation witnessed a rapid
recovery from the COVID-19
pandemic. To give impetus to
the healthcare industry, the
13th edition of Oman Health
Exhibition & Conference
(OHEC) will be held
in-person from 26-28
September 2022 at the Oman
Convention & Exhibition
Centre, Muscat, Oman.
OHEC is Oman’s leading

sector providing a
networking and
business-centric event

from the hospital

international hospitals,
health, and medical centers.
The event will welcome more

companies from Czech
Republic, Iran, India, Oman,
Poland, Thailand, Turkey,
and UAE to include over
5,000 healthcare
professionals and buyers

Middle East region during
the three day event.
Despite the recent
challenges caused by the
spread of COVID-19, the
pandemic provided an
opportunity to expand
existing healthcare system
and adapt a resilient
approach. Some of the major
factors responsible for
Oman’s rapid and efficient
response in curbing the
pandemic were the expansion
of healthcare system and
efficient vaccination
campaign. As outlined in the
Oman Vision 2040, health is
a national priority leading
to remarkable advances in
the sector. The rising
investment in public and
private medical sector in
the Sultanate is witnessed
with the opening of the SQU
Cancer Centre, Hematology
Centre, Ministry of Health
Diabetic Centre, Oncology
Centre, Hyperbaric Oxygen
Therapy Centre, Cardiac
Centre, Genetic Centre at
The Royal Hospital, IVF
Centre at Khoula Hospital,
and similar centres in other
