IVF conference concludes in Abu Dhabi on a high note

(Abu Dhabi, UAE) - The 5th Annual In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Conference was recently held in Abu Dhabi and opened by HE Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Tolerance. Top regional and global fertility experts came together at the Bab Al Qasr, Abu Dhabi on 15 November 2019 for this world-class conference organized by the world leaders in Reproductive Medicine – IVI Fertility.

The conference is the largest, one of its kind in the Middle East and focuses on showcasing the latest in the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatments and how these innovations and scientific breakthroughs can help address the growing problem of infertility. Titled the ‘Latest Advancements in Enhancing Success Rates in ART, Anno 2019,’ the event hosted by IVI Middle East Fertility Clinic, witnessed participation from over 350 OB-GYN specialists, embryologists, nurses and IVF technicians.

Fourteen international speakers from various countries presented latest advancements in several areas of Reproductive Medicine, including Pre-implantation Genetic Testing, Gene editing, Ovarian Stimulation, Impact of Vitamin D deficiency and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection.


Addressing the conference
, His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan said: “I endorse your premise that physicians in the field of fertility and human reproduction must practice their profession at the highest international standards of skill and knowledge and that continuing education is essential in view of the rapid advances in the field.”

Prof. Dr. Human Fatemi, Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Medical Director of IVI Middle East Fertility Clinics, welcomed the attendees at the conference an gave a short introduction.
