(Dubai) - Dabur International recently held a blood donation campaign in cooperation with the Dubai Blood Donation Center at the Latifa Hospital as part of its annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. Initially launched in 2013, the initiative aims to help meet the constant demand and urgency of providing blood to help save the lives of thousands of patients including those who suffer from Thalassemia, road accidents, burns, neonatal and maternity health complications and cancer and those scheduled for open heart surgery.

"Blood donation has become an institutional part of Dabur International's civic responsibility as we consider the company and the staff an integral part of the UAE community. We hope to continue fostering the spirit of volunteerism among Dabur employees and regularly involve them as well as our consumers in activities that benefit the community and help them embrace a sense of responsibility and social engagement within this generous nation," said Rikka Mehta, Head of Marketing Communication, Dabur International.
