Overview:

The Annual Ophthalmic Educational Symposium for Nurses and Technicians will be held 12 and 13 September 2005 / 8 and 9 Sha’ban 1426, in the Recreation Centre of King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (the sponsor) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The purpose of our annual symposium is to provide a forum to discuss the present practices and recent advances in the field of ophthalmic nursing and technology. Our two-day annual symposium will feature two international speakers as well as national and local experts.

Who should attend?

Our symposium targets ophthalmic nurses, orthoptists, technicians and assistants working at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital and eye centers around Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

Event Goals

By attending this symposium, participants will: 

  • Be updated on the present practices and recent advances in the field of ophthalmic nursing and technology.
  • Benefit from the expertise shared by international guest speakers.
  • Interact with ophthalmic nurses, orthoptists, technicians and assistants in ophthalmology and its subspecialties from Saudi Arabia, the Middle East Region, Canada and South Africa.
  • Be able to provide a higher level of ophthalmic care.

Purpose

The purpose of our annual symposium is to provide a forum to discuss the present practices and recent advances in the field of ophthalmic nursing and technology. Our two-day annual symposium will feature two international speakers as well as national and local experts. Our target participants of more than 200 are healthcare professionals such as ophthalmic nurses, technicians and assistants.

  • Early payment of registration fees is subject to a discount.
  • All participants attending the symposium (including KKESH staff and presenters) should complete a pre-registration form.
  • Completed forms should be forwarded to the Nursing / Technical Symposium Scientific Committee with the appropriate registration fees.
  • Non-payment of fees will result in your pre-registration not being processed.
  • Presenters are not required to pay registration fees.
