PureHealth, Erth Hospitality partner on patient experience at SEHA Corniche Hospital

(ABU DHABI) - PureHealth has announced a partnership with Erth Hospitality, the catering division of Erth Abu Dhabi, to introduce a service-focused patient experience model at SEHA Corniche Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

The partnership will focus on non-clinical aspects of the hospital experience, including food and beverage services, housekeeping, and guest services. According to the organizations, the initiative is intended to complement clinical care by creating a more comfortable and welcoming environment for patients, families, and visitors.

The collaboration reflects growing attention to the role of the patient experience in healthcare delivery, extending beyond clinical outcomes to include communication, the care environment, and interactions with patients and families.

Shaista Asif, Group Chief Executive Officer of PureHealth, said the initiative is intended to address aspects of the healthcare journey beyond clinical care, including how patients and families experience their time in the hospital. She described the partnership as part of PureHealth’s broader approach to patient-centered care.

Erth Hospitality will contribute its experience in hospitality, food services, and Emirati cultural practices. Shaikha Al Kaabi, Chief Executive Officer of ERTH Abu Dhabi, said the partnership aims to incorporate elements of Emirati hospitality into the hospital environment, with a focus on comfort and support for patients and their families.

The partnership follows PureHealth’s collaboration with the Dorchester Collection Academy in 2025, which focused on hospitality-related training and patient experience. Together, the initiatives represent the group's efforts to apply hospitality principles to selected non-clinical aspects of healthcare delivery.

The organizations have not yet disclosed details on the planned service changes, implementation timeline, or how the initiative’s impact on patient experience and clinical outcomes will be evaluated.
