DataFlow Group acquires
NEAC to expand international
licensing support for
healthcare professionals
(DUBAI)
-
DataFlow Group, a
provider of primary source
verification (PSV) services,
has acquired NEAC Medical
Exams Application Center
Inc. (NEAC), a company that
specializes in medical
licensing exam applications
and licensure pathway
guidance for nurses and
other healthcare
professionals.
The
acquisition brings together
DataFlow's network of more
than 100,000 issuing
authorities across over 200
countries with NEAC's
experience in helping
healthcare professionals
navigate international
licensing requirements. The
combined services are
expected to support
professionals seeking
registration and employment
in markets including the
United States, Australia,
New Zealand, and the Middle
East.
Expanding support for
international licensure
NEAC has supported more
than 100,000 nurses and
other healthcare
professionals pursuing
licensure in countries
including the United States,
the United Kingdom, the
United Arab Emirates, Saudi
Arabia, and Australia. Its
services include guidance on
licensing pathways and
assistance with examination
application processes.
Following the
acquisition, DataFlow plans
to use its existing
relationships with
regulators, government
agencies, and healthcare
employers, alongside its
credential verification
infrastructure, to expand
NEAC's services into
additional markets. The
companies may also integrate
NEAC's services with
DataFlow's digital
platforms, including
TrueProfile.io, which
supports credential
verification and
career-related services.
"By combining NEAC's
experience in examination
application services with
DataFlow's international
network and technology
infrastructure, we aim to
extend access to licensing
support for healthcare
professionals pursuing
opportunities across
borders," said Sunil
Kumar, Chief Executive
Officer of DataFlow Group.
Implications for
healthcare workforce
mobility
International recruitment
remains an important
strategy for healthcare
systems seeking to address
workforce shortages and meet
staffing needs. However,
professionals pursuing
employment abroad must
navigate varying regulatory
requirements, including
primary source verification,
examination eligibility,
professional registration,
and other country-specific
licensing procedures.
The acquisition
represents DataFlow's entry
into the United States
market through the direct
acquisition of a company
with established licensing
application services. It
also provides an opportunity
to expand support for
healthcare professionals
navigating different
regulatory systems.
The extent to which the
combined services will
affect licensing timelines,
application processes, or
access to employment
opportunities will depend on
the requirements of
individual regulatory
authorities and the
implementation of the
companies' plans.
Broadening NEAC's
services and geographic
reach
NEAC
has primarily supported
Filipino nurses and other
healthcare professionals
seeking opportunities in the
United States, Australia,
New Zealand, and the Middle
East. Following the
acquisition, DataFlow
intends to expand NEAC's
services to applicants from
additional countries and
introduce support for
further destination markets.
The companies also plan
to broaden the range of
services available to
applicants. Their stated
objective is to connect
credential verification and
licensing application
support within a more
integrated process,
potentially extending from
initial credential checks
through professional
registration and
employment-related services.
"NEAC has developed
longstanding relationships
with healthcare
professionals through its
applicant-focused approach.
We intend to build on that
experience by combining its
services with DataFlow's
verification capabilities
and international
infrastructure," said
Amit Gupta, Chief
Strategy Officer and M&A at DataFlow
Group.
Next steps
DataFlow plans to retain
NEAC's applicant-focused
service model while using
its existing infrastructure
and institutional
relationships to support
expansion into additional
markets.
For
healthcare professionals
considering international
practice, licensing
requirements will continue
to vary by destination
country, profession, and
regulatory authority.
Credential verification and
examination application
support can assist with
these processes. However,
applicants must still meet
the relevant eligibility,
examination, and
registration requirements
established by the
authorities responsible for
professional licensure.
Further details on
service integration, planned
market expansion, and the
scope of additional
licensing support have yet
to be announced.
