Bupa Arabia wraps up
first leg of “Bupa Padel
2026” in Jeddah

Bupa Arabia has
concluded the Jeddah leg of
“Bupa Padel 2026,” marking
the first stop of the
tournament’s third edition.
The three-day event was held
at Padel District with the
support of the Saudi Padel
Federation.
The men’s
competition brought together
32 two-player teams, with
more than 500 participants
and guests in attendance.
Winners
Basamh Group took first
place in the men’s
competition, followed by My
Clinic in second and Dallah
Albaraka in third.
The winning teams received
trophies and medals, as well
as shopping vouchers valued
at SAR 30,000 for first
place, SAR 20,000 for second
place, and SAR 10,000 for
third place.
Participation from the
Business Community
The 32 participating
teams represented companies
from a range of sectors,
including Saudi National
Bank (SNB), Savola Group,
Johnson & Johnson, Procter &
Gamble, DP World, Jamjoom
Pharma, flyadeal, Saudia
Cargo, Luberef and National
Bank of Kuwait.
The
tournament is open to
employees of Bupa Arabia’s
business clients and has
expanded since its launch in
2024 to include a wider
range of participants from
the business community.
“Beyond the
Court”
The
third edition of the
tournament is being held
under the theme “Beyond the
Court.” According to Bupa
Arabia, the format is
intended to combine the
sporting competition with
opportunities for
participants, clients, and
business representatives to
meet in a less formal
setting.
The Jeddah
event also included an
exhibition match featuring
international padel players
Frederik Ask, Federico Dip
Nazar, Ari Carrasco, and
Carlos Rodríguez Vidal.
Health and
Wellbeing
Eng. Ali Sheneamer, Chief
Business Development Officer
at Bupa Arabia, said the
tournament forms part of the
company’s efforts to promote
health and wellbeing through
physical activity.
“Bupa Padel reflects our
commitment to promoting
health and wellbeing through
experiences that extend
beyond traditional
services,” Sheneamer said.
He added that the
“Beyond the Court” format
provides an opportunity for
clients and partners to
connect through sport while
supporting an active
lifestyle.
Event Management and
Healthcare Support
A team of padel
specialists managed the
tournament. Hussain Alamoudi
served as tournament referee
after completing the first
official refereeing course
organized by the Saudi Padel
Federation.
Mussaid
Alhakami served as
tournament director. He is
accredited as a referee by
the Saudi Padel Federation
and has experience managing
and officiating local and
international tournaments.
Bupa CareConnect, Bupa
Arabia’s healthcare arm,
served as the event’s
official health partner. The
tournament also received
support from ASICS, Slope
Roastery, Active Division,
1Pass, Harvest, Goody, Breth
and Extreem Nutrition.
Upcoming
Tournament Stops
Following the Jeddah
event, “Bupa Padel 2026” is
scheduled to continue in Al
Khobar from September 10 to
12 and in Riyadh from
October 1 to 3.
The
tournament will conclude
with the “Bupa Padel Super
Cup,” which will bring
together qualifying teams
for the season finale.
Bupa Arabia positions
the tournament as part of
activities aimed at
encouraging physical
activity and healthy
lifestyles, in line with
broader objectives under
Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
