Family Health International (FHI) works to improve reproductive and
family health around the world through biomedical and social science research,
innovative health service delivery interventions, training and information
programs. We work in partnership with universities, ministries of health and
non-governmental organizations, conducting ongoing projects in the U.S. and more
than 40 developing countries.
Family planning
FHI works to improve the safety, efficacy and acceptability of family planning
methods and the quality and accessibility of reproductive health services.
HIV/AIDS and sexually
transmitted diseases
FHI strengthens programs in developing countries to prevent the spread of
HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases and improve care for people with
HIV/AIDS.
Services and products
FHI offers a variety of services in women's health and infectious diseases,
including clinical research design and management.
Publications
More than 1,500 full-text materials are online, including FHI periodicals,
working papers, reports and training materials.
